Key Nutrients Genetic profile

This genetic profile looks at a broad range of genes that can affect individual nutrient needs and also gives insight into metabolic function, immune response and detoxification ability. It is the perfect add-on for the one-off Review (Nutrition & Health MOT) service, allowing for a more personalised approach. Easy to administer at home, it only requires an oral swab for DNA analysis.

The test includes genes that have been shown to affect:

  • Food response - gluten (coeliac) and lactose intolerance

  • Caffeine - sensitivity and metabolism

  • Microbiome - diversity

  • Vitamin need - vitamins A, B9 (folate), B12, C, D and K

  • Blood pressure - sodium-potassium balance and salt sensitive hypertension

  • Detoxification - glutathione

  • Metabolism - blood sugar control (insulin) and appetite (leptin)

  • Inflammation - specific (infection response) and systemic

  • Circadian rhythm - early bird or night owl predisposition

HOW MUCH DOES THE KEY NUTRIENTS GENETIC PROFILE COST?

£361.50

Includes a 20 minute pre-test assessment, test kit, lab analysis and 90 minute results consultation.

What to do next…

Book your free pre-test assessment

If you think this is the test for you, I offer a free 20 minute pre-test assessment where we talk through your health goals. This helps ensure the Key Nutrients Genetic profile is the right fit and allows me to tailor the process to your needs.

At-home testing

Your test kit arrives directly to your door with simple, step-by-step instructions. No clinic visits or blood draws are needed, just an easy oral swab which can be taken any time in the comfort of your own home.  Once completed, you post your sample to the lab in the prepaid envelope.

Results & personalised guidance

When your results are ready, we’ll meet for a 90 minute consultation to walk through the findings in full. Together, we’ll create a practical, bespoke plan that supports your wellbeing and fits your lifestyle, offering personalised guidance in healthier eating and living aligned with your genetics, dietary choices, circumstances and needs. This is complemented by a tailored one-week meal plan.

Ongoing support available

If you would like further support in making these changes going forward, additional follow-up consultations can be added at the standard fee.
