Bakewell Smoothie

This quick and easy smoothie is a tasty and healthy treat, with the cherries providing several vitamins and minerals (including vitamin C), bananas adding potassium and vitamin B6, and almond butter offering vitamin E, magnesium and protein.

 

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup frozen pitted cherries

  • 1 cup milk (dairy, coconut or almond work well)

  • ½ medium banana

  • 1 tablespoon almond butter

 

Method:

Blend all ingredients in a blender till smooth. (A Nutribullet is very handy for this, but any blender will do!)

Serve immediately or refrigerate for later!
